The Story of Golden Bakery
The roots of the Ansari family in the bakery industry date back to 1922, when the family established a bakery business in Mumbai under the name UP Express.
In 1980, Haji Nazir Ahmed Ansari established Golden Bakery in Salisbury Park, Pune. Through quality products, hard work, and customer trust, Golden Bakery gradually became one of the well-known bakery names in Pune.
The business was built together with his five sons: Afzal Ansari, Nasir Ansari, Iqbal Ansari, Irshad Ansari, and Naseer Nazir Ansari.
Over the years, Golden Bakery became known for breads, toast, khari, cakes, and other bakery products supplied across the city.
However, after the family partitions in 2014 and 2016, the growth of the brand slowed down due to operational limitations.
Today, under the leadership of Nihal Naseer Ansari and Kamaal Naseer Ansari, 2026 marks the beginning of a new chapter for Golden Bakery with plans for expansion, new distributors, and franchise opportunities.
With generations of bakery experience behind it, Golden Bakery continues to move forward with a renewed vision for quality, growth, and expansion.

The Story of Golden Majestic Bakery
The Ansari family's connection with the bakery industry dates back to 1922, when the family established a bakery business in Mumbai under the name UP Express.
In 1980, Haji Nazir Ahmed Ansari established Golden Bakery in Salisbury Park, Pune.
After family partitions in 2014 and 2016, the family side of Nihal Naseer Ansari and Kamaal Naseer Ansari was limited to manufacturing only Butter Toast (Rounded Toast).
While the product had its own market, the business potential was limited and production costs were high.
Determined to build something larger, the brothers established Golden Majestic Bakery in 2018 with their own production setup, product range, and distribution network.
With the guidance and support of their father, Naseer Nazir Ansari, the business grew rapidly in a short span of time.
Today, Golden Majestic Bakery has grown into one of the largest bakery manufacturing setups in Pune, producing breads, rusks, cookies, cakes, khari, cream rolls, and more.
The company now supplies products across Maharashtra and multiple states through a growing distribution network.
Nihal manages administration, marketing, and production operations, while Kamaal handles administration and technical operations.
Golden Majestic Bakery stands today as a result of resilience, experience, family support, and the belief that difficult situations can become the beginning of something greater.

The Story of Starbury Beverages
Starbury was founded in 2020 by Nihal Naseer Ansari with a vision to create a modern cake shop brand that could eventually grow into a franchise network.
Coming from a family deeply connected to the bakery industry for generations, Nihal wanted to combine modern branding, quality products, and large-scale business potential.
During development, he identified a larger opportunity in the beverage industry and expanded Starbury beyond bakery products.
What started as a cake shop vision evolved into a beverage brand focused on unique, high-quality drinks and modern branding.
Today, Starbury manufactures energy drinks, carbonated soft drinks, and fruit-based beverages.
The portfolio includes Sirius Energy, Daimon Energy, High 5 Cola, BuzzUp, Zerooh, Ellemon, Wayrich, and several upcoming products.
With a focus on branding, taste, quality, and innovation, Starbury continues to expand with future plans across India.
The long-term vision still includes bakery, beverages, and franchise expansion under one unified brand identity.
